SAAB 93 (9-3) & 95 (9-5) Alarm Siren, Electrolytic Repair Capacitors.

3 x Saab alarm repair capacitors.

It’s not always a internal battery fault when the alarm fails, although, it is the norm, but sometimes 1 or more of the electrolytic caps may have failed.

If any of the caps have failed, then you need to replace them.

These capacitors are found in the Saab 93 (9-3) & 95 (9-5) Twice Alarm Siren.

Each component is the correct capacitance for the alarm.

This kit is only suitable for the Saab 9-3 (1998-2003) and 9-5 (1998-2005) Twice Alarm.

Our repair guide only covers the screw together unit.

The sealed unit involves much more work, but we can still help you repair it.

This kit contains the 2 batteries required to fix your alarm problem.

The item for sale is a repair kit, not the actual board.

Each battery is voltage checked to ensure it is above 3Volts.

The batteries we supply are normally around 3.25V

This way we know we can eliminate, the batteries should you still have SID issues.

Under normal operating use, the back-up batteries start to drain after a few years.

If your alarm has started unexpectedly going off

or your dashboard SID is showing ‘Service Theft Alarm’

Then it’s time to repair your alarm siren PCB.
